- From The BenchMaster:
-
- Howdy..wow, great program! The fish movements are especially well done.
- Just had some additional mentions:
-
- - Since you have to assign fish: to whatever directory it's in, as well
- as assigning the fonts: over (assuming you don't keep the Times fonts in
- your fonts dir), you might want to change the icon over to a Project type
- and run this from an IconX scriptfile. It's also (naturally) kind of a
- memory hog, so you'll want to delete Ram:#?, quit FaccII, etc.
-
- - If you want to make new fish or a background, you need a paint program
- that saves in HAM mode. If you try an IFF file, like from DPaintII, it's
- Guru City. I'm using Photom, which works fine. If there's any hassle, it's
- that you can only use the existing pallette, so you can't put, like, a big
- nude pic or blazing tank behind the fish. In this day and age of animal
- rights awareness, perhaps it's just as well.
-
- - I added all the icons for the .ascii files, so you can read the Temp,
- PH and Hardness of a certain type of fish and adjust the aquarium accord-
- ingly. The icons assume you have Less, More or MuchMore in your c directory,
- renamed as "Type".
-
- - To have more of the same type of fish, just use the Fish Menu to make
- another. Give the first fish a minute to get going before introducing the
- second or third for that more natural feel.
-
- - I thought since it was only a couple more minutes of download time, I'd
- include the 1.3 arp.library required by the program. I also included the
- Times 15 font, so except for copying the arp.library over to your libs
- directory, this baby's ready to go.
-
-
- Stay looses, gooses..
